Usually the birds didn't have anything very interesting to say, but today they were excited and had the most interesting stories to tell about the coming season.

That's it. It was time for a trip. So she grabbed her cat, her record and her other necessary belongings and took off for either down the street or down the continent. She hadn't decided which.

She had quite an odd assortment of friends, but they were definitely the coolest cats in the park and they liked to dance to rock n' roll.

Haven't made a Beatles appreciation set in a good while, so here's one now! I'm going through a resurgence of my original Beatles phase and I like it.

Yesterday was my birthday and I am happily nineteen-years-of-age. It started getting me thinking about what my ideal birthday bash would entail and I think it would be thus:
 
*everyone required to wear semi-formal black from head to toe and some form of animal mask
* lights everywhere
*my favourite dancing music playing- The Beatles, Elton John, Franz Ferdinand, The Like, Miles Kane, The Last Shadow Puppets, Arctic Monkeys, Florence+ The Machine, The Fratellis, etc.
* it would be held in a very old building with cool architecture- I would have it in the woods, but it would be too cold this time of year
*set off sparklers outside for a bit.
*plenty of good food and drinks with fun games to go along with
 
Ideally, this set is what I and my beau would wear. The beau is actually not imaginary this time so I'm quite lucky. I'm not sure if he would wear the shoes if we could even find them at all, but I think I could convince him to wear the turtleneck and I know he would wear the blazer. His attraction to blazers for dress attire is one of his most attractive qualities along with his amazing acting talent, gentlemanly ways, taste in side-parted hair and his leather satchel, and mutual love for Shakespeare, antiques and British movies. I'm not sure what animal mask he would choose, though, I'll have to ask him.
